Mola Winery is a family project initiated by the Vučinić family, starting as a passionate hobby that has evolved into a well-established business. Located to the north of Podgorica, just outside the city where the plains meet the hills of the Piperi region, Mola Winery has become a significant destination on Montenegro’s wine road.
The winery’s vineyards are situated in the picturesque Rogami area, covering 20,000 square meters of land, including locations known as Mrki Krš (Dark Karst) and Bilo. The name of the land reflects its rugged and inaccessible nature. Despite this challenging rocky terrain, it has been transformed into a thriving vineyard, creating a green stripe that is widely recognized by the locals of Rogami and passers-by.
At Mola Winery, the focus is on innovation, as the winemakers experiment with new technologies and methodologies. One example is their biodynamic wine, as well as a white wine that undergoes aging underwater in Skadar Lake. This forward-thinking approach aims to harness the full potential of the land and its unique micro-location.
