At Knežević Estate, home of the Monte Grande wines, you’ll enjoy a relaxed two-hour experience in the heart of the Skadar Lake wine region.  The tour begins with a relaxed walk through the sun-kissed vineyards, where you’ll learn about the winemaking traditions that span generations.

You’ll be welcomed into a peaceful outdoor setting — right among the vines — with a cozy swing and photo-friendly corners, ideal for soaking in the scenery. This outdoor wine tasting takes place right in the vineyard, where you’ll try three carefully selected labels — Chardonnay Limited, Pinot Blanc, and Vranac Limited.

Alongside the wines, you’ll be served a traditional Montenegrin snack platter featuring priganice with honey, prosciutto, cheese, and bruschetta. The setting is casual and inviting, with a swing tucked between the vines and perfect photo spots to capture the moment. It’s an easygoing yet memorable way to taste Montenegro’s wine culture — ideal for couples, small groups, or solo travelers.

The tour is held at Knežević Estate, located in Balabani, Golubovci, just a short drive from Podgorica. You can easily reach the estate by taxi or with your own private vehicle. What should I know before I reserve Monte Grande wine tour experience?

• Duration of the tour is 2 hours.
• The tasting is held outdoors in the vineyard, so we recommend wearing comfortable clothing.
• The tour is available during the warmer months when weather allows for outdoor tastings. In case of rain or extreme heat, alternative indoor arrangements can be made.
• Advanced booking is required – preferably at least 48 hours prior the tour.
• You can reach the estate by private vehicle or taxi. If you wish to arrange transport through the winery, please send a request.
• Don’t forget your camera or phone — the estate features scenic photo spots, including a swing overlooking the vineyards.

• Vegetarian options are available, but must be requested in advance.

Cancellation policy

• For larger groups, cancellations made the day before or earlier are free of charge.
• Cancellations on the day of the tour will incur a 30% fee.
• For one or two individuals, cancellations are free of charge at any time.
