STANDARD WINE TOUR – KEKOVIĆ ESTATE WINERY (90 MIN)
This 100% Merlot wine offers an elegant balance between richness and dryness. With 14.2% alcohol, it is full-bodied, and the aging in stainless steel preserves its freshness and natural fruit aromas. The wine showcases notes of red and dark fruits, such as cherry, raspberry, and black currant, with subtle hints of spice and herbs. With smooth, fine tannins, it has a long, harmonious finish with slight traces of smokiness and a touch of seasoning.
Food Pairing: It pairs excellently with grilled meats, roasted vegetables, beef stews, and hard cheeses like aged cheddar or Gruyère.
A powerful varietal wine from the south, made from the Vranac grape. Clear, ruby-red in color, with a pronounced fruity aroma. On the palate, pomegranate and dried fig dominate, with dynamic acidity and refined, well-rounded tannins. It leaves a medium-long retronasal impression.
Food Pairing: Pairs excellently with aged cheeses, grilled red meats, game dishes, and rich stews.
A premium red wine made from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes with a small percentage of Merlot. Ruby-red in color, with aromas of blueberries on the nose. On the palate, overripe pomegranate and dried fig dominate, complemented by dynamic acidity and soft tannins, leaving a long retronasal impression.
Any sediment that may appear in the bottle is a natural result of the wine’s production and aging process.
Food Pairing: Best enjoyed with roasted lamb, beef steaks, venison, aged cheeses, and dark chocolate desserts.
A remarkably rich and complex aromatic profile, composed of cherry and blackberry notes with hints of dark chocolate. The palate is smooth, with sweet and juicy tannins. The finish is rounded, harmonious, long-lasting, and fruity, with delicate oak undertones.
Reserve is a full-bodied wine with great aging potential.
Food Pairing: Perfectly complements dry-aged steaks, lamb, venison, truffle-based dishes, and matured cheeses.
Djukic Baron , with 14% alcohol, is a full-bodied red wine offering deep flavors of dark fruits like blackberry and plum, with hints of spice and tobacco. Its firm tannins and long finish make it a robust wine.
Food pairing: Ideal with roasted lamb, grilled steaks, game, or aged cheeses.
With an alcohol content of 14.5%, this wine is bold yet remarkably elegant. The time spent in oak barrels adds complexity, offering a rich bouquet of vanilla, spices, smokiness, and subtle wood notes that blend harmoniously with the fruity undertones of blackberries and black currants. The tannins are well-integrated, giving the wine a full body with a long, smooth finish.
Food pairing: Djukic Lord Wine 2020 pairs excellently with hearty meat dishes such as roasted lamb, steaks, grilled meats, or game. It also complements rich, flavorful sauces, roasted duck, or even mature cheeses like Parmesan, Gouda, and sheep's cheeses.
