Winery Mrkan – wine tasting & local specialties

Mrkan Winery invites you to experience a true Montenegrin wine tradition in the heart of nature. Located in Rvaši, near the picturesque Rijeka Crnojevića, this family-run winery produces 3,000 liters of wine annually from 6 tons of grapes, grown on-site.

You’ll be welcomed to a rustic yet cozy setting, where you can enjoy a tasting of seven unique wines (red and white), fruit and herbal liqueurs, brandies, homemade juices, and seasonal preserves. Tastings are paired with either a small snack plate or a full traditional “menza” spread, featuring cured meats, cheeses, fresh garden salads, homemade pastries, and more. Vegetarian and beef options are available on request.

Location and transportation

Mrkan Winery is located in the village Rvaši, 22 km from Podgorica, or 20 km from Cetinje. Guests can arrive by private vehicle or taxi. Transportation is not included in the tour price, but can be arranged upon request at an additional cost.
