Detail information
Winery Ćetković is located in the village of Beri, near Podgorica, a region known for its vineyards since the time of the Crnojević dynasty. This village belongs to the Montenegrin basin of the Skadar Lake wine region, within the Lješanska part of the Podgorica subregion, making it an ideal location for cultivating premium grapes under the influence of the Mediterranean climate.
The Ćetković vineyard boasts a rich history dating back to the time of Father Gajo Ćetković, whose name is preserved with great respect. His vineyards, with 30,000 grapevines at the time, were among the largest in Montenegro. His wines even won the admiration of Montenegrin King Nikola, who proudly praised their quality and authenticity to guests at the royal court.
Today, Winery Ćetković continues this rich tradition, lovingly and meticulously tending to its vineyards and producing wines that combine sunlight, fertile soil, and a centuries-old family passion for viticulture. With 6,000 grapevines, the winery cultivates four grape varieties: the indigenous Montenegrin Vranac, the international Marselan and Cabernet Sauvignon, and Malvasia Aromatica.
Winery Ćetković is where history, tradition, and a love for wine come together in every sip.
