The Đukić family winery owns a vineyard covering approximately 6,000 square meters, with vines that are over 40 years old. Located in Doljani, near Podgorica, the vineyard benefits from fertile soil, a favorable microclimate, and the unique characteristics of the old vines, all of which contribute to the exceptional quality of their wine.
The family’s secret to creating high-quality wine lies in the combination of these factors, producing sweet wine through traditional methods. The wine is crafted by blending indigenous grape varieties such as Vranac and Kratošija. After fermentation, the wine is aged in barrique and oak barrels for a specific period to develop its full character. Once the aging process is complete, the wine is carefully bottled, preserving the rich, unique flavors that reflect the heritage and tradition of the Đukić family’s winemaking.
