Detail information

Ražnatović winery is a family-run estate with a multi-generational legacy in grape cultivation. Located at an altitude of 150-250 meters above sea level in the Lake Skadar region, the winery nurtures vineyards in two authentic Montenegrin micro-locations: Drušići near Rijeka Crnojevića and Kopito Petrovića near Danilovgrad.

From the limestone-rich red soil of the Rijeka region to the sandy soil enriched with a layer of humus on the surface of the Zeta River, the Ražnatović family produces wines of character adn elegance.

Using native varieties such as Vranac, Kratošija, and Širaka alongside international grapes Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, Muscat, Italian Riesling, and Marselan, grown on their centuries-old vineyards, they craft wines known for their fullness, balance, and distinctive terroir expression.

The vines are trained using the Guyot system, specifically the single-cane Guyot method, where one fruit-bearing cane is left, along with one renewal spur that will develop into next year’s cane. This system allows for precise yield control and contributes to high grape quality.

The winery combines traditional winemaking techniques with modern, controlled fermentation processes, resulting in authentic, high-quality wines.
