About the Winery
As the head of the estate, I have been engaged in grape cultivation and wine production on our family farm for over 20 years. Among numerous gold and silver awards, I would highlight the first-place award and the title of best wine in 2008 and 2020 at the “Days of Wine and Ukljeva” event, as well as the best-rated wine among Montenegrin wineries at the first Wine Fair in Budva. It is worth noting that the judges on that occasion were some of the finest in the region.
This success is the result of my continuous commitment to ensuring limited yields in the vineyard, avoiding irrigation, and applying all enological procedures suitable for small wineries. Soil testing revealed that beneath 20-30 cm of humus-sandy soil lies rocky terrain, which turns into karst after just 1 meter. The vineyard is situated on terraced terrain, bordered by stone walls.
