Winery Dabović

Dabović winery is located in the picturesque village of Nudo near Grahovo, in a valley between towering hills, not far from Lake Skadar. The Dabović family has been cultivating grapes and producing wine for over 100 years. Their vineyard covers 3.1 hectares and includes around 15,000 grape vines, featuring indigenous grape varieties such as Žilavka, Vranac, and Kratošija.

The winery produces approximately 10,000 litres of wine annually and also offers grape brandy and herbal liqueurs. Wines from Nudo are known for their distinctive character, with the native Žilavka grape playing a key role in the production of their premium wines.

Dabović winery produces high-quality wines, among which the following stand out:

Nudolska Žilavka – A white wine made from the indigenous Žilavka grape variety. Known for its freshness and citrus notes, with subtle fruity aromas, Žilavka makes an excellent aperitif and pairs well with light dishes such as fish, seafood, and salads.

Serdar Nudolski Barrique – A dry red wine made from Vranac and Kratošija, aged in oak barrels. This wine is rich and full-bodied, with pronounced notes of vanilla, dark fruit, and spices. It pairs perfectly with roasted game, red meat, and mature cheeses.

Tasting room

The winery features a tasting room where guests can take part in guided wine tastings. The elegant atmosphere allows visitors to enjoy wines such as Nudolska Žilavka and Serdar Nudolski Barrique, accompanied by in-depth explanations of enological processes and the wines’ characteristics.

Wine shop

At the winery’s shop, you can purchase wines produced on-site, including Nudolska Žilavka and Serdar Nudolski Barrique, as well as the winery’s grape brandy and herbal liqueurs.

Restaurant

The winery also includes a restaurant where guests can enjoy traditional Montenegrin cuisine paired with Dabović wines. It’s the perfect setting to savour authentic local dishes alongside premium wines from the estate.
